November 18, 2007pm   Thankful for the Day!    Malachi 4:1-2a

By Ronald E. George Jr.  at the Fayetteville Baptist Church

I am thankful for the coming day.  God’s promise to you and me is that things won’t always be this way.  Sin will not always be allowed to rule the earth and humankind.

Malachi 4     “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. 2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. [1]

13. I am thankful that he chooses you and me to be his ambassadors.

14. I am thankful for the healing of the spiritual world, so that sin is cleansed.  It is a disease that needs an antibody.  That cure is Jesus.
